Question 3 of 13

In Module 1, we learn about being Stress Smart. Please comment on your greatest discovery and what has been helpful for you as we have learned that

A. Stress is addictive to the brain,

B. We hold stress as a cultural badge of honor, and

C. Stress increases when we experience a lack of power, or being stuck.

(Your answer is expected to be at least one or two sentences long).

Question 4 of 13

In Module 2, we gained insights about our "Inner Company" - Mr Ego, Mr Autopilot, Mr Stress, Ms Grievance, Ms Guilt, Ms Worry. We also got acquainted with our archetypes The Child, The Victim, The Saboteur and The Prostitute.

Please share some of the observations you have made in life where getting to know these functions has been helpful to you.

Question 5 of 13

In Module 3, we learned more about the Brain and some of the mind shifts we can make to create a better working brain. Some examples are 'Life happens TO me, Life happens FOR me, and Life happens THROUGH me', and the Mind Wheel (Thoughts - Feelings - Actions).

Since fear impacts our neurology negatively, what are some of the shifts you have made that makes you feel less worried or more forgiving?

Question 6 of 13

In Module 4, we looked at the Power Game! There are two major teachings in this module:

1) How Everything is Energy

2) "Power Over vs Power With".

Please comment on one or both of these teachings below, in relation to your own growth as a leader.  (Remember, there are no right or wrong answers).

A .

The Mindfulness Intelligence® Leadership Excellence program stands apart from other training programs in a few ways. One is that we honor that everything is energy and that a leader makes impact primarily through leading people with his/her/their own energy.

B.

The old way of seeing power as a finite resource that needs to be hoarded and controlled has left us with a system of "Power Over". We are asked and supported in MQ to make a switch to see power as infinite and that "Power With" breeds trust, sharing and collaboration.

How has these mind shifts impacted your leadership?

Question 7 of 13

In Module 5, we looked at how to Read People from a few different levels: 1) We observe them, 2) we sense them, and 3) we love them.

Observing people and establishing their baseline of behavior is very useful (DISC etc), but potentially exhausting and definitely limiting. Sensing them and loving them are unique methods of MQ. As we add our heart as a vantage point, electric waves (brain) merge with magnetic waves (heart) - and we are much better at sensing people's electro-magnetic field of intentions, emotional states, etc. With the heart, our understanding of other people increases. MQ says that We can't lead people if we don't love people.

How has this expanded idea of reading people landed in you?

Question 8 of 13

In Module 6, we learn Changeability. Since the world is spinning record-fast and old ways of "keeping up" are not cutting it anymore, MQ turns to that which precedes manifested reality (what we experience in the 3D world), which is the unified field of infinite potential.

Although the idea of a unified field can be very abstract to our minds, you may have experienced that how you show up (what kind of emotions, intentions, and energy you are emitting) somewhat dictates the experience you are having as a leader, and your ability to impact change.

Please share what comes to mind as you think about how you handle change now compared to before you entered the MQ program. Remember that there is no right or wrong way to answer - you are reflecting on your experience.

Question 9 of 13

In Module 7, we learned about what makes winning habits happen. We took the mind wheel further: Mind Wheel (Thoughts - Feelings - Actions) turns into a Habit Wheel (Beliefs - Emotional States - Habits) so that we can become detectives of our own mind and change our habits.

What are some habits that come to mind that you have been able to change and add?

Question 10 of 13

In Module 8, many of our MQ learnings come together in a "Vision Positioning" for our own career and contribution. What are some of the things you think will change in the business world and changes in leadership requirements in the near future? How are you looking forward to being a part of that?

Question 11 of 13

Looking back at your leadership skills before MQ, how would you rate yourself (as you were back then)?

A

1 star - not comfortable, not effective

B

2 stars - sometimes effective, but unhappy with how I got results and how I felt in myself

C

3 stars - I was ok! Felt fine most of the time but didn't communicate and collaborate as much as I wish I had

D

4 stars - I was good! Felt good at work, comfortable, good results, good feedback, good communication

E

5 stars - I was amazing! Great results while everyone around me felt great and did great, including myself!

Question 12 of 13

Last question: You are growing into a new type of mindfully intelligent leader. How would you rate yourself now compared to before, and why? (New star rating + explanation)

Again, no right or wrong, this is you reflecting on your own growth and giving yourself credit for where you've come.
